Messe Frankfurt And Messe Friedrichshafen Form New Joint Venture

Trade fair leaders Messe Frankfurt and Messe Friedrichshafen have announced their final joint venture Fairnamic GmbH. The organization will focus on the urban mobility and general aviation sectors, with EUROBIKE and AERO South Africa being the core focus of these brands.

The goal of this latest joint venture is to expand and grow these flagship shows across both venues and encourage global mobility and collaborative innovation among these core brands. This is because Eurobike continues to expand its focus on cargo bikes and mobility.

Based in Friedrichshafen, on the shores of Lake Constance, fairnamic wants to play a role in the bicycle, e-bike, micromobility solutions and general aviation markets. All areas are considered "future-proof".

Announcing the latest joint venture, Klaus Wellmann, Managing Director of Messe Friedrichshafen, said: "The transport sector represents a very promising market for the future, and our partnership aims to open up new markets and reach new target groups, while expanding our international reach Impact. Messe Frankfurt is a true heavyweight in the global trade fair market and an ideal partner for us."

fairnamic will be led by managing directors Stefan Reisinger (former head of Eurobike) and Stefan Mittag. Both are experienced show organizers.

Eurobike will make its debut in Frankfurt from 13 to 17 July 2022. In addition to providing more exhibition space, the move is expected to more than double Eurobike's visitor numbers from 60,000 to 150,000. Its organizers hope the move will allow it to better compete with rivals from the auto industry.
